Established in 1991
Ram Garza is lead artist and head of operations.
Emily Andujar is shop manager and client relations.
We specialize in paint on canvas and board, and frame repair.
For over 30 years, we’ve contracted through galleries and served individual clients in and around Austin to provide high-quality conservation and restoration work.
Each project is carefully considered for the damage and quality of the medium to assess the best solution for its repair. The varnish on these paintings was cracking and yellowing from improper storage. The varnish was thoroughly removed, a few blemishes were inpainted, then a new coat of varnish was applied.

“I looked at multiple companies to do restoration on an 18th century oil painting. After speaking with the team, we chose to go with Art Restoration Austin. I'm incredibly happy with their restorative work. They were able to give new life to our painting while preserving the key historical details. Since we resell our pieces, our standards were incredibly high. The team at Art Restoration Austin went far and beyond our expectations. We will be returning customers.”
